COPLINK Detect Refresher Course
This class is designed to be a great refresher for intermittent users of COPLINK Detect and as an introduction to basic training for new users (who are not system administrators). The course consists of 4 hours of presentation and exercises with an on-line instructor. Students may have the option of logging into our training server, through a web-portal, and practice their skills on challenging training scenarios with their instructor on-line to ensure their competence and skills.
The training will consist of:
- A brief overview and design of the COPLINK system
- Demonstration of program functions
- Familiarization and use of our Detect Graphical User Interface
- Use of our basic and refined query tools
- Creating targeted result sets through filtering
- Hands-on program use on real world police scenarios
COPLINK is the premier Data Integration Search tool that law enforcement uses to conduct investigative inquiries for lead generation, analysis and collaboration with other law enforcement agencies. It is most effective in the hands of Officers, Deputies, Troopers, Detectives, Investigators, Agents, Analysts and Investigative Supervisors / Commanders.
Students will receive hands-on assistance from one or more Training Specialists, a Fast Track Guide, Student Workbook, FAQ list and Certificate of completion.
